Greek Mythology Book Tag

Ever since I picked up Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series four years ago, I’ve been a lover of Greek Mythology. So, naturally, I had to do a book tag on it! I don’t know who originally created this tag, but I discovered it on Berries & Books, a wonderful book blog!! This list was so much fun to make, so if your interested in using this tag, I would highly recommend doing so!

Well, with that being said, let’s begin!

Zeus, King of the Gods: Favourite Book

Must I answer this one? There’s no way I can name one book that I favour above all others. Well, some of my favourites are Sadie by Courtney Summers, Girl Made of Stars by Ashley H. Blake, To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo, and What I Lost by Alexandra Ballard.

Poseidon, God of the Sea: A Book That Drowned You in Feels

I know I already mentioned this one, but Girl Made of Stars definitely triggered a whole lotta feels. It is very rare to come across a book that makes you feel happy, sad, angry, and hopeful all at once.

Hades, God of the Underworld: Favourite Book With a Dark/Ominous Plot

The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White.

Hera, Goddess of Marriage and Family: Cutest Fictional Couple

AHHHHH. If you’ve been keeping up with Mythical Reads for a while, you’ll know that I have an unhealthy obsession with fictional ships. Some of my favourites are Keephie (Keeper of the Lost Cities), Lirelian (To Kill a Kingdom), and Kinder (The Lunar Chronicles).

Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, Handicraft, and Battle Strategy: Series With the Best World-Building

This one is easy. The Lunar Chronicles!! All of the realms within this series were so thoughtfully built and interesting to read about!

Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty: Most Beautiful Cover

This is always changing, but right now I am obsessed with the covers of East by Edith Pattou, The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R. Pan, and Wild Beauty by Anne-Marie McLemore.

Aries, God of War: Most Violent Book You’ve Ever Read

Ummm… is it cliche if I say the Hunger Games???

Hephaestus, God of Blacksmiths and Fire: Scorching Hot Swoon-Worthy Character

CHAOL WESTFALL!!!! Get out of my way Yrene, he’s mineeeee.

Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt: Favourite Kick*** Heroine

Katsa from Graceling and Lada from And I Darken!

Apollo, God of Light and Healing: Sequel Book That Redeemed It’s Series

Crown of Midnight from the Throne of Glass series. I really appreciated the major character development.

Hermes, Messenger God of Thieves: Book With the Best Message

I loved the messages in Annie on My Mind, How to Make a Wish, and What I Lost (:

Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth: Book With the Most Relatable Story

I could relate to many of Romy’s feelings in the Loneliest Girl in the Universe.

Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture and Fertility: Favourite Bookish Setting

Camp Half-Blood from the Percy Jackson series! Do I even need to say any more?? 😀

Dionysus, God of Wine and Celebration: Most Anticipated Release of 2019

So many awesome-looking books are coming out in 2019!! I, personally, can’t wait for Into the Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo, Finale by Stephanie Garber, and Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi!

That’s all I’ve got for today!

Thanks for checking out this post!! I promise that more fun reviews and challenges will be published soon!

Have a Terrific Tuesday,

Octavia
