WWW Wednesday 3/18

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

Every week when participating in this meme, you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

I haven’t done one of these posts in a long time, so I’m looking forward to partaking in this meme once again! Let me share with you my three W’s!

I’m the type of reader who usually cycles through 2-3 books at once, but right now I’m actually only reading one book (mainly because I finished a book just last night… but we’ll get into that later)! That book is Legacy!

Legacy is the eighth book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger. I’ve been reading this children’s series for years now, and I always get so excited when a new book comes out every year!

These books are MASSIVE– Legacy is about 800 pages long, and as of right now, I’m a little over halfway through it!

This book was incredible! It took me a while to get into, but I eventually became so invested in it to the point that I literally couldn’t put it down!

With amazing character development, great world-building, and an element of creepiness that makes your skin crawl, you won’t want to miss this book! I received it as an ARC, so mark your calendars for its publication in July!

I recently wrote a review for this book that has been published on my blog! Read it here.

This is another ARC I’ve received that I’m super excited to read! I’ve read Greer Hendricks’ and Sarah Pekkanen’s An Anonymous Girl, which I thought was a pretty decent read. It lacked some much needed thrills and twists, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I have my doubts about this book, but I have hope that it will exceed my expectations! I’ve heard some great things about it, and the synopsis is very intriguing.

I’ll start reading this one as soon as I can… Maybe even tonight! I can’t wait to dive into it!

I saw a glowing review from a friend on Goodreads about this one! I’m so surprised I haven’t heard about it until now because it sounds so interesting.

I haven’t read much Adult Dystopia, so I think it would be worthwhile to explore the genre more by reading this book. The plot description gives me the idea that there are many possible connections to be made between the Grace Year and the real world. OooOooOooh…

Also, whoever designed the cover for this novel deserves a medal. Seriously… it’s so stunning, and makes me want this book on my shelf even more!

I read this books predecessor, Spin the Dawn, last year as an ARC, and I adored it! So naturally, I’m super excited for the sequel, Unravel the Dusk.

I’m praying for an ARC, but I might not be so lucky due to Spin the Dawn’s crazy success. I’m crossing my fingers, though!

There might be a Spin the Dawn reread in my future, whether I get the ARC or not. I seriously loved it, but I can’t quite remember everything that happened. So in preparation for the sequel’s publication in July, I might have to reread it!

What are your three W’s? Let me know down below in the comments! Or, leave a link to your WWW post if you have one! Have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday!

Burn Our Bodies Down was so good, I highly recommend it! Legacy is a HUGE book, but I usually speed through KotLC books pretty quickly– The writing is so light and fluffy! I’m so excited for Unravel the Dusk! I’m dying to read it! Happy reading to you too, and thank you for commenting!! Stay safe and healthy ❤

Ehhhhh… I feel like the plot is kind of being dragged out to the point where I don’t even get why things are happening. I still love the world and characters, but I don’t think there’s that much story left to tell. Eight books is A LOT for a series and I just heard that Shannon Messenger announced that there will be at least two more books! Not sure how I feel about it yet.
