Name a book that feels like a hidden gem!
Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier is such a wonderful read that I wish more people knew about! This fantasy novel swept me off my feet with its enchanting setting and loveable characters. I highly recommend this one if you’re longing to be transported to a magical, breathtaking world.
A debut novel you loved!
I talk about this one way too much on my blog, but I just love it so much! To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo is a dark and sinister retelling of The Little Mermaid that absolutely blew me away. As I’m sure you gathered from the name of this blog, I love anything to do with mermaids, sirens, and mythical sea creatures. You’ll adore this book if you enjoy thrilling adventure, gripping narration, and a hint of sizzling romance!
A book so good you didn’t want it to end!
I was reluctant to read The Queen of Nothing, the final instalment in the Folk of the Air trilogy, simply because I wasn’t ready for the series to end! Reading this series has been such an epic, heartstopping, and emotional journey, and I’m so sad that it’s all over. I’m extremely envious of the people reading it for the first time!
A book you bought for super cheap!
I got my copy of The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee on my kindle for only $1.99! I have yet to actually read it, but I’m planning on picking it up in the near future. I almost wish I had ordered a physical copy since the cover is so stunning!
A book you thought was just so sweet!
Geekerella by Ashley Poston is my all time favorite YA contemporary novel! It’s such an adorably delightful read that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The romance is just so sweet, and the characters will worm their way into your heart by the end of the book!
A book that changed your life!
I don’t talk about this book that much on my blog, but it’s one of my favorites. I have such a deep, emotional connection with it, and it holds a very special place in my heart. The story is absolutely beautiful, as it is both hopeful and heartbreaking. I definitely recommend this one if you’re in the right headspace to read it.
A book filled with so many surprises!
Sadie by Courtney Summers is a very mysterious novel filled with endless twists and turns. It will have you constantly on the edge of your seat, needing to know what happens next. Definitely check this one out if you haven’t already. It is truly a fantastic book that is worth the read.
